More help with the review process of debtags is needed. At the moment
very few people are involved in the process of reviewing and
confirming new debtags.

It would be nice if the package maintainer could help directly by confirming
new debtags via sending an e-mail to pts@qa.debian.org like this is
already implemented for subscribing to packages.

I could imagine that

debtags-confirm brainparty

would confirm all debtags in the source package brainparty

whereas

debtags-help brainparty

would signal that the maintainer cannot decide whether all debtags are
correct or useful and that he or she requests assistance.

Indeed http://wiki.debian.org/Debtags/FAQ states that giving
the maintainer ultimate responsibility about debtags would be
difficult but i think this is the only way to get more people involved
in improving the debtags data base.

Regards,

Markus

The PTS is not debtags.debian.net, please re-send your mail to Enrico,
who is the maintainer of the debtags service.
