Hi,

It would be nice to have the list of packages and sources from archived 
releases in a some sort of archived_{packages,sources} tables.

Done, in archived_sources and archived_packages.

Note that only releases starting with hamm were imported, as the
Sources/Packages format was different before.

The importer does not run automatically. It must be run when a release
is archived.
