Sorry I did not reply sooner. This came about from a commit by tg in
the mediawiki package,
r382 "in contrast to uscan(1) DDPO DEHS needs the epoch mangled away"

The upstream version number is green, meaning "up to date".

Well I would expect this, as the epoch is now being mangled away by that commit... but I see you have found a better example and reopened the bug already.
