An obnoxious list of all RC bugs if you don't have "anything else" to do
would be, indeed, obnoxious. But OTOH a random selection of a few (2?
3?) RC bugs via a text like

Nothing urgent to do in your packages, good!
How about helping the release fixing the following (randomly selected)
 RC bugs?

 1.
 2.

If you don't like them but would like to help the release anyhw, there
are many other RC bugs to choose from.

would be nice. I think presented in a way similar to the above wouldn't
be annoying and would help in spreading the culture of releasing in a
more collaborative manner.

Just my 0.02€,
Cheers.

PS do you have any stats of how many people/access DMD is getting
 already?
