Bug#631473: developer.php: please strip buildX from Ubuntu versions

Package: qa.debian.org
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

as Ubuntu does not know the concept of a binNMU, they do sourcefull
uploads with the version 1.2.3-1buildX to indicate a plain rebuild
for a new library or something.

When looking at http://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=evgeni+golov
pokerth is shown as "newer in ubuntu" which is wrong, as it was just
a rebuild I don't care about.

It'd be nice if you could strip it at least for the version compare.

Regards
Evgeni
