actually it does, see 
svn://svn.debian.org/svn/piuparts/piatti/home/piupartsm/bin/detect*

and of course this code is also neither feature complete nor bug free...

so I've just done:

$ svn ci -m "'Hash Sum mismatch' is another failure option"
Sende          bin/detect_network_issues
Übertrage Daten .
Revision 896 übertragen.
