On one hand, I've just added to the PTS support for *showing* package
versions waiting in NEW.

On the other, this bug does not belong to the PTS, but rather to
DEHS. The reason is that DEHS should centralize the information about
whether a package is up to date wrt upstream or not, and the PTS is
just one of the consumers of such information. As all such consumers
will benefit from NEW knowledge, Raphael acknowledge that it should be
better implemented there.

(Well, actually he nitpicked about *where* exactly in DEHS that should
be implemented, but that's irrelevant :-))

Cheers.
