In the meantime I've added a subsection to http://wiki.debian.org/Ubuntu linking to the UbuntuForDebianDevelopers wiki page. Anybody feel free to suggest a better placement for that information (it is the most appropriate page I've found on wiki.d.o) and/or a better wording.
