look at the gabedit package. You will, that the table shoes, that
upstream is at version number 2011, which seems to be higher than
2.0.11, but it's of course not true. It's simply upstreams way to write
the version number. So in my debian/watch file, I use a dversionmangle
and then uscan works and succeeds to compare the versions. But it
doesn't seem to work on qa.debian.org.

Hello,

As you can see at your DDPO[1] page the gabedit package is now displayed as 
updated. It took me some time to find the reason why the mangled Debian 
version was being rolled back to the non-mangled one.
