The "gift > tag" idea doesn't seem to have been successful. Yea, I queried and found no bugs that were gifted :( Personally, I quite like the idea of the gift tag. Lots of people who want to contribute are confused about where to start (like I was when I started and later realised that bugs are the best way to go about it). And it is quite likely that beginners won't know much about usertags when they start off, so summarising "gifts" on a prominent place like the PTS page would be good.
