Please don't. I cannot see a good alternative to fbtv which is part of
the xawtv source. And I personally cannot see a good alternative to the
streamlined and straightforward xawtv - not even in X: tvtime and kdetv
are rather complex and depend on a big bunch of libs and stuff.
