Is passivetex still being maintained?

'passivetex' hasn't been uploaded since 2004, has two RC bugs, and
has been removed from 'testing'.  The maintainer is listed as
debian-xml-sgml-pkgs@lists.alioth.debian.org.

If it's not being maintained, I intend to request removal of the
package from unstable.  The most recent version of the package is
present in 'stable', so this incurs no loss of data and the package
is easy to revive.

(If it is being maintained, it's well overdue for an upload.  Please
leave a comment on one of the RC bugs if you plan to upload soon.)
