Oh, by the way: if you're really concerned about the tex4ht package,
maybe you should prepare an updated package? Debian is a volunteer-based
effort, and unless you pay someone to update the tex4ht package, nobody
-- not even its maintainer -- owes it to you to update it.

person marked as maintainer is in fact maintaining the package, and if
not, correct that field so that it is known that nobody maintains the
package, and call for other volenteers to take over maintainence. It
isn't said for sure however that somebody wants to maintain it. The only
two options you have in that case are maintaining it yourself, or paying
someone else to maintain it for you.
