Requesting NMU of elinks

Hi all,

Is anyone willing to do an NMU of elinks incorporating the patch in bug # 
231760?  The "important" bug has been there for 172 days with no response 
from the maintainer (Peter Gervai) since March 30th when he promised to 
include the fix in the next update.  It would be nice to have this ugly 
error fixed in sarge (and maybe some others like # 247495 at the least).
