I'm still around; however, the MY_DOOM virus hit my system hard in
February. Thus, I have hundreds of emails to go through, and some of
the emails that were sent to me earlier in the year were permanently
lost as excess mail to my inbox were deleted after it was filled to its
limit with worthless virus mails and spurious bounce messages.

I fixed quite a large number of bugs in batch in November, a release
that incorporated several months of work. I was all set to follow with
further releases at that time, but the Debian systems were compromised,
and as a result, I still do not have access to some of my Debian
accounts, which are useful for performing work and uploading new
releases.

All I ask is a little patience as I sort out this mess caused by account
and email problems. The events of the past several months has increased
job of getting up to date with the current status of my packages by
a factor of three. The additional correspondence that has occurred
in the BTS of pcmcia-cs has probably increased the effort required
again. Thus, I have to digest what has been done, assess whether it has
broken anything (which in my experience of maintaining this package
for the past 8 years, it often does), and fold it in properly to my CVS
repository. For now, I have to sort through my collection of emails
(those that I have actually received) and determine what needs to be
done. I shall be away at a conference at the end of this week and out
of touch.

Your patience is greatly appreciated.

- Brian
