I can say that the new upstream nagios-plugins superceed any netsaint-plugins as they were the original base and much of the code has been changed at this point so I would not expect any patches to the old netsaint-plugins to come from upstream. The netsaint-neat package is from an entirely separate code base as it is an independent plugin package written by someone else so would have to check there or the maintainer of the package.
