Thinking of removing some QA packages

About removing the figurine package, I use this regularly, since there
are some things xfig does poorly with respect to object snapping and dia
really does something pretty different.

I'm not a debian developer, but I'd be willing to act as an upstream
maintainer if that will keep this package in debian. I've got a fix for
bug #158006, and I'm looking at #158008 now, should have something ready
within a few hours. I don't understand #158005 as a bug report - I don't
think this is fixable unless another report better detailing exactly
what is wrong is submitted.

The reason no one's bothered fixing these bugs may not be that no one
uses the package, but that no one runs into these. The last two at least
deal with improperly dealing with files that are corrupt anyway.

What are the chances this can stay in debian if I bring the package
up-to-date and fix the outstanding bugs?

Thanks,
Aaron Small
