Hello,
It has been discussed here (or on debian-devel) when Thomas Schoepf
prepared his NMU, that Kevin Dalley is MIA (he had been upstream
author, too). Recently James Youngman jay_gnu.org has taken over
upstream maintainership for findutils, which fills me with hope for a
/nice/ findutils debian package.

I intend to do this:
* upload 4.1.20. Repack findutils from scratch using debhelper and
  dpatch.
* Commit the forwarded bugs to upstream's BTS on savannah.[1]
* Clean up the BTS.
* Search a co-maintainer (Thomas?), after I've done at least part of
  the dirty work.

Comments? Is it ok to hijack the package?

[1] I have not interacted with it a lot, is it possible to send mails
to 123@bugs.savannah?
