Heh.  You are now about the closest to a maintainer as the package
has had in a long time.  I'd be happy to upload the package for
you, if you send me the patch.  But, as others have said, if you
want to take an active part in maintaing the package, you should
become a maintainer.  I'd be happy to sponsor you.
