Hello Mike Goldman <whig@debian.org> has not uploaded a package since Thu, 4 Oct 2001 (the date of the last changelog entry for pm3, which ist the latest changelog entry with his name in it I am aware of). Google searches reveal no activity by him in the last few months. Most of his packages have been orphaned, with the notable exception of oo2c32. oo2c32 is obsoleted by oo2c. The two source packages generate the same binary packages; a messy situation which may be the reason that oo2c32 was overlooked when orphaning the other packages. In order to properly retire oo2c32 (and remove it from the archive), I'd like to adopt it - but it hasn't been orphaned, and as I am in the NM queue, it would look particularly bad if I just hijacked it. If on the other hand the QA team assured me that it is okay for me to hijack the package, I'll gladly do so. Florian -- Q. How many former COBOL programmers does it take to write an XML interoperability specification? A. You can never have enough former COBOL programmers to write an XML interoperability specification. -- Andrew Orlowski on eSpeak
