Package: kmail
Version: 4:2.1.1-7

Hi,

After having upgraded my woody with the latest packages, I noticed that it
had upgraded my kde to kde 2.2.1.
I had a serious problem with kmail : I wasn't able to attach _any_ file. I
tried it several times but it always resulted in kmail crash (Dr Konqui
window). I first thought that it was due to my system but yesterday, my
roommate installed a fresh new Debian and it did exactly the same thing
(crashing when attaching any file). Here's how he installed it :
- Installing base system thanks to potato's boot floppies
- upgrade to woody via internet thanks to apt-get
- apt-get install kmail after having installed kdebase/kdelibs3...

KDE ran very smoothly, only kmail had a problem when trying to attach
 files...

Unfortunately, we both upgraded to kmail 1.3.2 immediatly in order to get rid
of the bug and it worked perfectly, the sid package of kmail is terrific ! So
I have no trace to give you unfortunately, all I can give you is the output
of dpkg --status kmail :

I also may have a copy (I'm not sure because I cleaned my archives but I
think my roommate didn't) of the kmail package that has the bug is someone is
interested.

thibs:/home/thibs# dpkg --status kdebase
