Bug#91828: Hmmm... this broke, it seems...
* Use MODULE_LOC, although I can imagine no way on earth that it can be
better than using ../ . Of course, the bug reporter didn't bother to
explain his particular configuration, or show any type of log, or any
type of useful information, so this may not actually Closes: #91828.
That's their tough luck.
Hmm... I have:
$ grep MODULE_LOC /etc/kernel-pkg.conf
MODULE_LOC := /usr/local/src/linux/modules
Yet I get:
$ fakeroot make-kpkg modules_image
[...]
dh_builddeb --destdir=/..
dpkg-deb: building package `lm-sensors-2.4.4' in `/../lm-sensors-2.4.4_2.5.4-12+ysabell.0_i386.deb'.
dpkg-deb: unable to create `/../lm-sensors-2.4.4_2.5.4-12+ysabell.0_i386.deb': Permission denied
Before this I always built lm-sensors with make-kpkg, and I had always
worked, I don't really know what Joseph was talking about...
