Package: ical
Version: 2.2-6

When writing latin1-chars (=E5=E4=F6), the are fine in ical, but in
.calendar, they are eg, "Contents [Fredrik fyller =C3=A5r]". This shoul=
d
be "Contents [Fredrik fyller =E5r]". If i write "=E5" in the .calendar=

file, it displays ok in ical. =20

I have seen this problem on my own compiled ical/tk/tcl system, and it
appeared with some version of tcl/tk and disappeared with the next.
8.2 might have been involved, but I'm only guessing on that.

So, this is probably a bug in tcl or tk, but as it appears in ical, I
start here.

/Micce

ical has been removed from Debian unstable and won't be released
with the next official release of Debian, codenamed "woody".

Reason: Requested by vela@; orphaned, bugs, previous maintainer
considers it obsoleted by better alternatives, dead upstream

Please switch to one of the following programs: korganizer, plan,
xcal, xcalendar-i18n, xdkcal

If you have questions about this, please contact me.
