Bug#88595: terraform: build from source fails

The build fails (on alpha, but I don't think it matters) with
the following error:
checking for gtk-config... yes
checking if GTK+ version (1.2) is used... yes (1.2)
checking if proper GTK+ revision is used... yes (8)
checking for gnome-config... yes
checking for gtkmm-config... yes
checking if GTK-- version 1.2.x is used... yes (1)
checking if proper GTK-- revision is used... no (2.5)
configure: error: *** Error: gtk-- minor version revision (2.5) < 2 ***
make: *** [build-stamp] Error 1
It looks to me that the check for the revision number needs to be
tuned somewhat.
