I have looked into the problem and the patch, and indeed, it solves the
said problem.  The upstream fix to this problem, sourceforge patch #102826,
is a crap and only temporarily works around the symptom.  It is suggested
that anyone who can spare the time apply the patch and close this bug.

The current CVS version of queue-development still does not have this
fix... I will talk to the upstream have the patch incorporated there.
