Bug#94697: lm-sensors-source; i2c-voodoo3 gets confused when X server runs

Package: lm-sensors-source
Version: 2.5.4-12
Severity: normal

When I try to run `sensors' from within X, the probe of the DDC
information takes several minutes and consumes lots of CPU cycles
during that time. Finally, it displays scrambled data:

ddcmon-i2c-2-50
Adapter: DDC Voodoo3/Banshee adapter
Algorithm: Bit-shift algorithm
Monitor ID: ___????
Serial number: -1
Monitor Size (cm): 255x255
Vertical Sync (Hz): 0-0
Horizontal Sync (KHz): 0-0

Unloading and reloading the i2c-voodoo3 module fixes the problem --
until the next time X is restarted.
