net env problems?

hello,

i was happy seeing such a thing like netenv... nevertheless, it doesn't 
work for me....

the dialog session at boot works perfectly, but the resulting netenv file is
empty..... leaving the default values for the network....

so somethings gong wrong.... i do not know what to do to provide you better
info for diagnostics, so please tell me which steps i sould run and what info
sould be provided/expected
