I have tested it here, and APOP works fine. Is it possible that you have used your normal password for the user when using APOP? From the fetchmail FAQ: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- You can register a secret on the host (using popauth(8) or some program like it). Specify the secret as your password in your .fetchmailrc; it will be used to encrypt the current challenge, and the encrypted form will be sent back the the server for verification. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- When you haven't used such a tool to create a secret password please try popauth from the qpopper package and report if it works correct now. Then I can close this bug with the next upload.
