You're right. After

rm /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/dotfile/english/bash/bytecompile
dotfile bash bytecompile

it starts without problems. IMHO the dotfile-* packages (OK, not
dotfile-doc   ;-)  ) should make the 'rm' when installing a newer version.

Tcl/Tk 8.0 and 8.2
no TkStep installed
