Bug #23744 fixed?
I was looking through the bugs database today (hey - I was bored), and
noticed a surprising number of bugs reported against xanim assigned to
QA. At random, I picked one, and noticed this:

> say that the problem is fixed in this version. xanim should therefore
> be upgraded to the latest upstream version so it will be able to read
> quicktime from sites such as CNN again.

(The bug report complains that xanim cannot handle QuickTime 3.0.)
According to the package lists on the Internet site, slink currently
ships 2.70.7 and potato ships 2.80.1. I don't use xanim; can anyone
confirm that the problem is fixed? If so, maybe we should close this
one.
