Bug#23355: On closing of bugs

Package: debian-policy
Version: 7 Apr 1998 18:59:29 +0100

I think this needs clarification. There is a problem with non-active
maintainers or maintainers that have gotton lost.

In conjunction to multi-maintainer packages and groups maintaining
packages, not so strong handled one-man maintainerships etc. this
part needs to be discussed.

Please consider this report as a reminder.

Regards,

	Joey

Just a quote:

4. Noone but the maintainer of a package (or someone acting on their
request) should close its bug reports.
