Package: bibindex:
Version: 2.6-0

Version-2.6 is severly out of date.
The current version of bibindex is 2.8 and has been for a long time.
Version 2.8 fixes several problems. Thanks to Bill Jones
for mentioning this problem of the bibindex package.

bibindex-2.8 is available from
<ftp://ftp.cs.usask.ca/pub/geometry/bibtools2_8.tar.Z>

[I submit this bug to my own package because I can't upgrade
the package due to serious time constrains. Anybody who wants to
take over the bibindex package is welcome to do so.]
