Package: autoconf
Version: 2.13-10

(from command-line: Autoconf version 2.13)

I'm compiling the CVS version of LyX (Sat, 11 Sep 1999 14:45:11 +0300).
As so often, the CVS version won't compile. Automake told me
that it found several C++ source files but no AC_PROG_CXX()
in configure.in. Well, I checked it out and there was AC_PROG_CXX()
somewhere, though I didn't check if that part would ever be
read. So I tried a quick-hack by placing AC_PROG_CXX() line as
the first non-commented line in configure.in.
After this I got the following:
---clip---
sammakko:/usr/src/lyx$ automake
configure.in: 7: required file `src/config.h.in' not found
sammakko:/usr/src/lyx$ autoconf
autoconf: Undefined macros:

The CVS version that I'm compiling is over 9Mb big
and my modem won't upload anything bigger than 300kb
without hanging up so it would be quite a job to
upload it somewhere accessible.

However, I'm attaching all automake and autoconf
configuration files. (note that the configure.in
includes the AC_PROG_CXX() added by me in the
beginning of the file)

You can get the rest of the LyX CVS from
CVSROOT=:pserver:anoncvs@anoncvs.lyx.org:/usr/local/lyxsrc/cvsroot
The password is either just blank (press enter) or "lyx".

Let me know if there's more that I can do to help.
