Package: autoconf
Version: 2.12-7

Now that gcc and g++ have been split into separate packages, a problem with
the AC_PROG_CPP macro has come to light...

The value set by AC_PROG_CPP is "gcc -E" even when g++ has been detected.
Since gcc can't see the c++ header files included by egcs for g++, this
fails when preprocessing files that #include those c++ files.

I think the best fix for this would be to have AC_PROG_CPP set the value
to "$CXX -E" if the c++ compiler has been detected or "$CC -E" otherwise.
