Bug#1123600: O: libapache-mod-removeip -- Module to remove IP from apache2's logs
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal
X-Debbugs-Cc: libapache-mod-removeip@packages.debian.org, Micah Anderson <micah@debian.org>, 1085702@bugs.debian.org, Package Salvaging Team <team+salvage@tracker.debian.org>
Control: affects -1 + src:libapache-mod-removeip
I have orphaned the libapache-mod-removeip package.
Please note that there are no new upstream commits since 13 years and
this project seems to be orphaned upstream as well thus you might become
also upstream in case you might take over this package.
The package description is:
This package provides the removeip module for the Apache 2 webserver.
This module allows for overwriting Apache's environment variable
REMOTE_ADDR with a fixed value. This is necessary to anonymize all logs
written by Apache and to prevent web applications from accessing the original
IP address.
.
Please be advised that activating this module may cause unexpected side effects
to the behavior of your web applications.
