I have orphaned the binfmtc package.
The package description is:
Linux binfmt_misc handler for C, C++, Assembly languages,
Fortran, Java(GCJ).

Using the binfmt_misc interface, binfmtc allows users to
seamlessly execute C source code as if they were scripts.
