Package: gtkam-gimp
Version: 0.1.2-1

kernel 2.4.18-pre6, debian woody + sid

When i click on the subfolder containing the image files of my usb-connected Kodak DC240 camera the status-bar of the gtkam-gimp's window will begin to scroll up filling the whole window with messages like:

Getting file 'DCP_xxxx.JPG' from folder '/DCIM/100DC240/'... [Cancel]

[Cancel] beeing a cancel button ...

on stdout/stderr, gimp spits the following 2 lines for each pic:

** CRITICAL **: file gtkam-status.c: line 203 (update_func): assertion `id < status->priv->progress->len' failed.

** CRITICAL **: file gtkam-status.c: line 225 (stop_func): assertion `id < status->priv->progress->len' failed.

The problem is (beside the the fapt that it looks ugly) that when using an pixmap gtk theme/engine this will malloc all my memory and swap (256M/256M) and the kernel will start killing processes ...

Also gtkam-gimp will crash if i click the big [Cancel] button on the bottom of the screen while downloading the pics.

on stdout/stderr it gives (the last 25 lines):

Gtk-WARNING **: invalid class type `(unknown)' in cast to `GtkamStatus'

** CRITICAL **: file gtkam-status.c: line 203 (update_func): assertion `id < status->priv->progress->len' failed.

Gtk-WARNING **: invalid class type `(unknown)' in cast to `GtkamStatus'

** CRITICAL **: file gtkam-status.c: line 225 (stop_func): assertion `id < status->priv->progress->len' failed.

Gtk-WARNING **: invalid class type `(unknown)' in cast to `GtkamStatus'

Gtk-WARNING **: invalid class type `(unknown)' in cast to `GtkamContext'

GLib-CRITICAL **: file garray.c: line 429 (g_ptr_array_add): assertion `array' failed.

Gtk-WARNING **: invalid class type `(unknown)' in cast to `GtkamStatus'
/usr/lib/gimp/1.2/plug-ins/gtkam-gimp: fatal error: Segmentation fault
/usr/lib/gimp/1.2/plug-ins/gtkam-gimp (pid:6494): [E]xit, [H]alt, show [S]tack trace or [P]roceed:

gtkam works ok (does not crash or enters in the malloc maddness) except from some messages on stdout/stderr like:

** CRITICAL **: file gtkam-status.c: line 203 (update_func): assertion `id < status->priv->progress->len' failed.

** CRITICAL **: file gtkam-status.c: line 225 (stop_func): assertion `id < status->priv->progress->len' failed.

... when downloading the pics

Thank you - have a good day.
