* Léo Haf <leo@haf.ovh> [251001 16:55]:Hi, i'm currently building a new package for the debian distro and my package need Berkley DB C++ development files but it seems that in sid the package libdb++-dev is deprecated, is this expected? is there any alternative for me that I could use?bdb as available in Debian underwent a license change by upstream (Oracle). Newer versions are not suitable for Debian due to the new license. Thus Debian will try to remove bdb from the distribution. You will need to find a replacement. Maybe upstream licensing is suitable to you, or maybe you can port to another similar database.Good luck, Chris
