Package: keepassx KeePassX 2.0, the new upstream version, stores password databases in a format incompatible with KeePassX 0.4. As a result, some users may prefer to keep the old version for interoperability. However, because Debian package for KeePassX 2.0 uses the same name as KeePassX 0.4, it is not possible to install both version simultaneously. I think the right choice would have been to package KeePassX 2.0 under a different name (e.g. keepassx2) because it is so much different from KeePassX 0.4.
