Bug#1113824: elpa-lsp-haskell: recommends haskell-ide-engine which is not in unstable

Subject: elpa-lsp-haskell: recommends haskell-ide-engine and lsp-ui which are not in unstable
Package: elpa-lsp-haskell
Version: 1.0.20211214-1
Severity: minor
User: carles@pina.cat
Usertags: package-relations

Dear maintainer,

I see that the package elpa-lsp-haskell (version 1.0.20211214-1)
recommends haskell-ide-engine and lsp-ui which are not in unstable.

This can be seen in https://packages.debian.org/unstable/elpa-lsp-haskell

Should it be dropped or changed?

I notice that the recommended packages might exist outside Debian (not
packaged for Debian). I don't know if they exist in .deb or something
else.

In here:
https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-relationships.html#binary-dependencies-depends-recommends-suggests-enhances-pre-depends

It says:

---
Recommends

This declares a strong, but not absolute, dependency.

The Recommends field should list packages that would be found
together with this one in all but unusual installations.
---

At the moment I am with the opinion that packages outside Debian should
not be in Recommends. But if you think otherwise perhaps can stay. Or
perhaps this should be documented how to install them.

So, I'm not sure if the bug is to be closed and that's all, drop the
recommended packages or drop and document it, etc.

Thank you,
