Package: nwall
Version: 1.32+debian-10
Severity: serious
nwall uses /run/utmp to find logged-in users. A default Debian
install does not have /run/utmp. As nwall relies on the file to
provide its key functionality of sending messages to logged-in
users, its functionality is now completely broken.
Given the last nwall release was in 2002(!), and the README states
it is mainly used on zork.net itself, I would suggest nobody should
spend any more time on nwall.
