Package: wondershaper
Version: 1.1a-4
Severity: wishlist
Tags: patch

Hi,

after using the wondershaper for some years, i did some improvements to
it to fit my needs, which might be useful for others too, so i post them
as feature request for the debian package.

The modifications in the attached patch are:

  * added scripts to control wondershaper by a one-line entry in
    /etc/network/interfaces
  * changed calling syntax (see also #253385)
  * add a 'reload' option to change the traffic limit(s) on the fly,
    i.e., make use of the 'tc class change' command. Useful for testing
    and possibly for dynamic traffic shaping
  * use the HTB version
  * move some hardcoded options to /etc/default
  * updated the docs

I'm sorry for the large patch, but dividing it into working smaller
patches failed because of point 2 (changed syntax).

Best regards,
- Dietrich
