Package: guessnet Version: 0.36-1 Severity: normal Hello, I use guessnet with multiple profiles and ifupdown. One of them has a dhcp configuration, the others are static profiles. Unfortunately, one of that networks has a DHCP agent running, but I also have an IP address reserved for my laptop. What happens: on ifup, guessnet scans them all, and then it chooses the DHCP connection (because the server answered). However, I want it to choose the prefered profile with my special IP. That profile can be detected without problems (it is detected correctly when I remove the dhcp profile from interfaces list, but manuall changes are exactly the problem that guessnet tries to solve). Changing timeout does not change anything. It waits N seconds, then does a DHCP lookup and keeps that DHCP-assigned IP. I think the DHCP scans should not be executed when any other check has already been sucessfull.
