The file /etc/profile.d/sendfile does not have .sh suffix,
so it's not sourced by /etc/profile at all.
I noticed this because I'm planning to improve the way
files at /etc/profile.d are read (see Bug#885414).
The plan is to use a regexp (instead of just *.sh), but
the requirement that the files have .sh suffix will remain,
as it's used to differentiate shell snippets from csh snippets.
Suggest using "sendfile.sh" instead, but maybe you have to do
additional things to remove the old conffile if it did not change.
