Package: libapache2-mod-apreq2
Version: 2.13-7+deb11u1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

I've experieced problem after upgrading old (i386) machine to Debian-12
I've upgraded it from Debian-10, through Debian-11 (without testing this
step), ultimately to Debian-12.

My APACHE2 server was working correctly with libmason-perl while running
Debian-10, but after the upgrade it no longer works. Excerpts from log
is here:
----------/var/log/apache2/error.log----------
192.168.1.47:52220] Can't locate object method "new" via package "Apache2::Request" at /usr/share/perl5/HTML/Mason/ApacheHandler.pm line 935.\n
----------------------------------------------

I'm reporting from another machine (arch=amd64) which I keep at Debien-11.
Here the apache2 with my web-page works correctly (with libmason-perl and
libapreq2-mod-perl) and it does have libapreq2-mod-perl instaled. I tried
to download here the libapache2-mod-perl:i386, but the package is not
available on this release either.

The package got removed from bookworm due to #1027355.

libapreq2 (2.17-3) should migrate to testing in a few days.

Once it's back in testing, it will be rebuilt for bookworm-backports.

libapreq2 (2.17-3~bpo12+1) is now available in bookworm-backports.

Kind Regards,

Bas
