Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?

[UPGRADE] telnetd-ssl:amd64 0.17.41+0.2-3.3 -> 0.17.41+0.2-3.3+b1

Bug also observed on i386 architecture.

using ckermit 305~alpha07-1+b1 to telnet to localhost failed after the above upgrade.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

Downgrading telnetd-ssl to 0.17.41+0.2-3.3 enabled ckermit's telnet to connect again.

   * What was the outcome of this action?
   * What outcome did you expect instead?

This being an issue with C-Kermit (and apparently already solved[1]), I am now
closing this bug.
