Package: gpscorrelate-gui
Version: 1.6.1-4
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

when trying to correlate photos that are read-only with gpscorrelate-gui, the GUI dies without an explanation.

If run from the terminal, one can see the following lines:

Failed to open file /home/haaninjo/Documents/testgpscorrelate/IMG_20130712_190854.jpg.
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'Exiv2::BasicError<char>'
what(): /home/haaninjo/Documents/testgpscorrelate/IMG_20130712_190330.jpg: Failed to open file (w+b): (errno = 13)
Aborted

It is clear that correlating read-only photos can not succeed, as it includes adding longitude and latitude to the photos, but it should not crash the GUI. Doing nothing and showing an error message describing the problem would be more helpful.
