Package: xine-ui
Version: 0.9.22-1

I use 1280x1024 physical resolution w/ 1600x1280 virtual desktop,
xine w/ "XV" output.

First problem is that if I tell xine to get fullscreen - it uses
all 1600x1280 to display the video which is really NOT what I'd
expect, when I want to watch video "fullscreen" (and ceteinaly not
"full-virtual-screen-underfull-physical").

I suspect only small tweak would be needed to check *phisical*
screen size instead of *virtual* and use the former for display.

Second problem is that to see all the video properly - I need to
move my view (physically displayer part) of virtual desktop to it's
left upper corner. If I don't - then the video is only partially visible
(or not at all). To explain it better - if I move my view area, say 2cm
down and 1cm right from the most left-upper position then the video
in xine window will move down-right by those 2cm/1cm accordingly, and
upper 2cm and left 1cm of xine video window are empty (blue).

Again - apparently the place where xine displays the video seems
to be bound to *physical* place on the screen. So - as I move around
w/ my virtual desktop - physical place where video is displayed should
be altered accordingly to the shift between view window and virtual
desktop.

The output plugin that xine seems to be using is the "xv" one. Others
(most of) don't work for me or give degraded performance (xshm).
I use NVidia card w/ binary driver (I somehow doubt it makes any
difference) on current Debian unstable.

Please don't hesitate to ask if some of the above were unclear.

Cheers,

					Grzegorz B. Prokopski
