Package: libnfsidmap
Version: 0.25-5.1
Severity: normal
Tags: fixed-upstream

This version of libnfsidmap ignores the settings Nobody-User and
Nobody-Group in the configuration file's [Mapping] section. This
causes clients to show 4294967294 as the user or group under some
circumstances (e.g., when none of the plugins listed in [Translation]Method
provide name-to-id mappings for nobody@<domain>).

This was fixed upstream in version 0.26 (dated 2014-08-13). The ChangeLog
suggests that the implementation started diverging from the documentation
in this respect on 2006-04-20.
