Package: memtest86+
Version: 5.01-3
Severity: minor
Hi,
just what the topic says. In non-SMP mode, the test can run for hours.
In SMP mode, it reproducibly hangs up in test #7 at the same time.
Internet is full of similar reports... maybe README.Debian should
mention that SMP support is experimental?
Btw, http://forum.canardpc.com/threads/84663-Memtest86-is-freezing-while-running-test-7
Regards,
Eduard.

I'm afraid I don't have that particular system anymore on which that
happened... so I couldn't really tell whether *that specific* bug is
gone.
But next time I'll do some memtests I'd report back, should there be
any "new" issues.
Apart from that, I guess we can close the ticket (which I do).
Thanks btw. for your efforts to get the current version packaged.
Highly appreciated. :-)
Chris.
